How to Program time warner remote Control
You can program time warner remote to control the power, volume up and down, and mute functions on your TV. Use the following procedures to properly program your remote for optimal TV operation.
Make sure your TV is powered ON before you program the remote control. Locate the proper TV brand with correlating codes from the TV Setup Codes list.
Make sure to hookup and power on all device you want to setup using time warner universal remote codes. next, make sure the batteries are working in the time warner universal remote. Note down the universal remote codes from the time warner remote code list provided. Nothing is more frustrating to find out that you have not hooked up or universal remote batteries are bad after spending your evening on trying to program Charter Spectrum universal remote.
Program time warner remote Control
The time warner Remote Control is pre-programmed to operate time warner, Spectrum receiver, RCA TV, Toshiba DVD player, and a Pioneer audio receiver. To control devices other than the default brands, perform the following steps
Step 1
Point the remote control away from the digital home communications terminal and away from your TV and VCR.
Step 2
Press and hold the TV button and the Select button at the same time until the red LED on the remote blinks twice.
Step 3
Using the remote control keypad, enter your television's 3 or 4 digit setup code. The red LED on the remote should blink twice. If not, try another setup code, if available.
Step 4
Confirm by pointing the remote control toward the TV and test the Power, Volume, and Mute functions. If these functions do not operate properly from the remote control, enter the next TV setup code in the list by repeating this procedure from Step 1.
If you want the remote control to adjust the volume on your digital home communications terminal rather than the volume on your TV, remember to press the CBL button before adjusting the volume, and if you want the remote control to adjust the volume on your TV press the TV button.
